They couldn't keep milk so they quickly made cheese and butter. They didn't drink water because they weren't sure it was safe! (History repeats!) So what did they drink? This special tour considers parlor drinks, to the herb garden teas, to the Madeira hidden in the Parson's cupboard. Visitors will press cider, hear about the real "tea party" and sample several 18th c.-delights! We suggest you leave the kids at home. Beverages sponsored by the Willimanic Brewing Company. Reservations required, call (860) 742-6917. Tours at 6 & 8 pm. $20 members; $25 members-to-be.
